StreamEmote reads your heart rate, breathing and heart rate variability from the webcam you already own — and puts them on screen in real time. No chest strap, no smartwatch, no second device.
Your camera already sees more than you think. Skin brightens and dims with every heartbeat — too faintly for you to notice, plenty for a 30 fps camera.

Estimated from the same camera picture. No strap, no mic, no calibration breath to hold.
Heart rate variability — the variation in the gap between beats, which shrinks when you're under load — is measured today and shown as RMSSD in milliseconds. A Low, Moderate or High stress state derived from it is coming soon.
A plugin that reads your pulse off your face should have to explain itself. So: while the source is connected, frames travel from OBS over an encrypted connection to our inference service, which analyses them in memory and discards them. We keep the numbers, never the picture.
No calibration routine, no warm-up window, no baseline session before you can go live.
An installer for Windows 10+ or a package for macOS 12+. It adds a StreamEmote Vitals source to OBS — no manual folder surgery.
Any camera OBS can already see. StreamEmote reads the same feed your viewers do, so there's no second device to frame.

Vitals appear on the overlay once the signal settles, and your live dashboard follows along.
StreamEmote will watch your expression and your pulse together. An emote only fires when both agree — so the rage is real rage, not a well-timed eyebrow.
A cool aura settles in as your breathing slows. Useful when you're actually trying to show your audience what calm looks like.
Heart climbing, breath tightening, stress stepping to Moderate. Chat can see the 1v5 landing before you say a word.
Peak heart rate plus a rage face triggers the tint and the emote burst together. Movement also drops signal quality — and the overlay says so.
Emote packs are coming soon. Picking one here previews it in the overlay at the top of the page. Back to the preview
Once your vitals are a live signal, the rest of your scene can listen to them. These are next on the list.
Dim lighting, a turned head, a lean out of frame — rPPG degrades, and a plugin that kept printing a confident 72 would be lying to your chat. StreamEmote shows its confidence instead, and drops the number rather than invent one.
Peak and average heart rate, average breathing, your calmest minute and the signal quality. Share a link and the card shows up as the preview on X or Discord, while chat is still in the mood to argue about it.
